Kate Lord Schnepf is a Los Angeles based writer, director, and assistant director. 
 

Raised in the midwest, educated on the east coast, and currently residing on the west coast, Kate's work is inspired by the sadness and silliness of being human.

 

Her first short film “Play Date” premiered at the Academy award-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival and is currently enjoying a festival run across the country at festivals including LA Shorts Fest, Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival, and Cordillera International Film Festival.
